The Argentine club Vélez Sarsfield announced its official signing of veteran midfielder Manuel Lanzini.

Sarsfield signed Lanzini on a free transfer after his departure from River Plate, and he signed a contract until December 31, 2026.

Lanzini, 32 years old, started at River Plate, then played for the Brazilian club Fluminense, the Emirati club Al Jazira, and the English club West Ham United.

The player has made 5 international appearances for the Argentine national team, and a better career was expected for him were it not for injuries.
