The Mjalbo team achieved a huge surprise in the Swedish Premier League, as they succeeded in winning the title for the first time in their history.

The team secured the title after managing to win against their host Gothenburg "2-0" with 3 rounds remaining in the championship.

What Mjalbo achieved is referred to as a great miracle since the club represents a small village with only 1,500 inhabitants.

Mjalbo competed against prestigious clubs with huge financial and human resources and significant local and international experience, such as Malmö and Djurgårdens.
