Anthony Gordon, the England international, spoke about Trent Alexander-Arnold's pass that led to his goal during the victory over the Czech Republic, praising his teammate's ability to execute such passes.
Gordon said: "Not many, I told him that when I scored, I do that run over and over again, and there are only a limited number of players who have the ability, technique, and courage to attempt a pass like that, even with the possibility of making a mistake, so Arnold deserves a lot of praise, that's why he is a great player, and I was looking forward to playing with him for that reason."
He added: "It was good, we were in control for the most part, we probably should have scored more goals in the end and maybe we didn't have enough quality in the final third."
He continued: "There are some things we need to work on; I felt that when they had one player less, we were a bit negative and allowed them to have more possession than they should have."
