The Morocco national team has changed its schedule for the international break, replacing Ghana with Mali for a friendly match as part of the Atlas Lions' preparations for upcoming competitions.
The university clarified in an official statement that the Morocco national team will face Mali on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Grand Stadium in Tangier, instead of the Ghana national team.
The association indicated that this change came after receiving an official correspondence from the Ghana Football Association, in which they apologized for not participating in the friendly match that was scheduled to take place between the two national teams on the same date and at the same venue.
The Ghanaian side has apologized for internal reasons, leading to a change in the opponent's identity while keeping the date and location of the match as previously scheduled.
