Young Moroccan striker Abdallah Rihani has surprised fans with his decision to embark on a new journey in Qatari football, officially joining Muaither, a club in the second division, during the current summer transfer window.
Rihani, 22, is one of the most promising attacking talents from Morocco that has emerged in recent years, having developed his skills at the Atlético Madrid academy before moving to the Sevilla B team. He then had a brief spell with PAOK in Greece, before deciding to continue his football career in Qatar.
Al-Ma'idher has announced the signing of the Moroccan forward via their official Facebook account, sharing a photo of the player wearing the team's jersey, accompanied by a welcoming message that read: "Welcome to the ranks of Al-Kahilaan."
Rihani's move to Al-Mu'aidar represents a new milestone in the player's journey, as he aims to take on a different challenge in the Qatari league, following previous experiences in Spain and Greece.
