Ahmed Hassan, the former Zamalek star, shared Akram Tawfik's statements as a player of Al-Shamal Qatari via his account on Facebook.

Al-Shamal Qatari had announced the signing of Akram Tawfik coming from Al-Ahly of Egypt.

Akram Tawfik said: "The project of Al-Shamal Club is behind my joining it."

Akram Tawfik is considered one of the most prominent midfield players in Egyptian football recently and can play in multiple positions including defensive midfield and right back.
