Roberto Fernández, the RCD Espanyol Barcelona forward, has caught the attention of several Bundesliga clubs after his strong start to the season, alongside his impressive performances with the Spain national team.

Roberto Fernández had scored 6 goals during his first 7 rounds of LaLiga before receiving his first call-up to the Spanish national team, making his international debut last Saturday against the Czech Republic, where he played the full match and Spain won 3-1.

According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg from "Sky Sport Germany", several clubs from the Bundesliga have shown interest in signing the Spanish forward, without revealing the names of the interested clubs so far. This interest could turn into a concrete move during one of the upcoming transfer windows, starting from the January market.

Roberto Fernández attracted interest from Premier League clubs last summer, including Hull City, who made an official offer for him, but RCD Espanyol Barcelona rejected it.

The 24-year-old forward's contract with RCD Espanyol Barcelona runs until 2031, and his release clause has increased from €25 million to €30 million following his appearances with the Spanish national team. RCD Espanyol Barcelona holds 62.5% of his economic rights, while 37.5% belongs to Sporting Braga.
