Bryan Cristante has suffered a problem with his right knee after previously dealing with lower back pain that kept him out of Italy's squad. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the AS Roma player is currently experiencing inflammation in his knee and will undergo evaluations from the medical staff in the coming days.

Initial reports indicated a minor problem, but Sport Mediaset and Goal have pointed out that the situation could be more serious, with a possibility of him missing around three weeks, which means he will be absent for the match against Como on October 11.

If the absence period of nearly three weeks is confirmed, Bryan Cristante will also miss the anticipated match against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on October 14 at the Stadio Olimpico, as well as the match against Genoa on October 17. However, if the injury is less severe, his return could be quicker, but his participation against Real Madrid will remain in doubt.

La Gazzetta reports that there is optimism regarding his condition currently, confirming that there is still time for recovery, so his absence from Real Madrid cannot be considered certain until the results of the evaluations and medical tests appear. If he is absent, Marten de Roon emerges as one of the options to replace him alongside Koni.
