The Dutch Football Association has punished a 13-year-old fan who invaded the pitch during the Netherlands vs. Germany match in the UEFA Nations League to take a souvenir photo with fellow countryman Tijjani Reijnders.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw, but a young fan found himself facing a harsh penalty for his actions, as the federation imposed a fine of 100 euros on him, along with a five-year ban from entering stadiums across the Netherlands, according to reports.
With this penalty, the fan may be able to drive before he has the chance to return to the stands to watch his favorite team, in a striking irony considering that his current age is only 13 years.
