Olivier Giroud has spoken about his football career and achievements over the years, confirming that the current season could be his last in professional football.
Olivier Giroud stated in comments reported by "L'Équipe": "Yes, I wanted people to remember me, and for my children to learn a little about my story. My sons are 8 and 10 years old, and for several years they have been watching videos of their father online, and they enjoy it a lot."
The French forward added: "That’s why you want people to remember you, through your qualities and what you have achieved on the pitch."
Giroud concluded his remarks by saying: "And off the pitch, I think people appreciate me for my personality."
Olivier Giroud's contract with Lille ends at the end of the current season, having played 6 matches this season, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists.
