Colombian forward John Durán, the former Al Nassr player, has made surprising statements about his experience with Turkish side Fenerbahçe, revealing strange details he claims to have witnessed inside the club during the past period.
Duran stated in media remarks: "The problem within Fenerbahçe was not in training or tactics, but rather jealousy from competitors."
The Colombian forward added: "They would show us videos on how to fall and convince the referee, and after warm-up, we would spend 20 minutes training on convincing falls."
Duran recounted another incident that left him puzzled, saying: "I found a whip and handcuffs in the changing room, and when I asked about them, they said they were motivational materials!".
The former Al Nassr player concluded his statements by saying: "They have claims of greatness, but there are no trophies," urging Fenerbahçe to remove the whip and shackles, stop the referee videos, and cease being envious of their rivals.
