José Mourinho has reaffirmed his commitment to keeping Endrick at Real Madrid, rejecting the idea of a loan move during the January transfer window after the Brazilian forward's impressive performance against Roma.
Mourinho said after the victory over Roma in the Champions League: "What you have been talking about since the day before yesterday does not mean that I have worked with him for years, but I have worked with him for several months, I know his talent, and I know of course that he is a boy who needs to improve."
Real Madrid's coach added that comparisons between young players and established stars do not always help, explaining: "I have always been aware, and you are a witness to that, that he is not a player for loan or sale, because he is a player of Real Madrid's level."
José Mourinho praised Endrick's performance against Roma, saying, "It was indeed his night," after he scored one goal and assisted another in Real Madrid's 4-3 victory.
