Rodrygo continues his recovery journey from the knee injury he sustained last March, having touched the ball for the first time during his training at Real Madrid's Valdebebas sports city.

According to "Mundo Deportivo", the Brazilian winger is on track with his recovery schedule, having started working on the pitch on September 3, and has now added ball training to his rehabilitation program.

Rodrygo suffered an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament and the external meniscus of his right knee during a match against Getafe in LaLiga on March 3, before undergoing surgery a week after the injury.

The recovery period from this serious injury ranges from 10 months to a year, meaning the player still needs several weeks before returning to full training with his teammates.

Rodrygo and Real Madrid aim for the player to be ready to participate under José Mourinho during the crucial stage of the season, while he is currently continuing his rehabilitation program step by step.
