Portuguese manager Rubén Amorim confirmed his satisfaction with the big win his team achieved against Red Bull Salzburg, with a score of 4-0, in the Europa League. However, he emphasized that the team still needs to develop in certain aspects.
Amorim said in his statements after the match: "We had greater control of the game in other matches, but today we succeeded in scoring goals. We performed better in previous matches, yet we are focusing a lot on the result, and there are things we still need to improve, but it was a wonderful evening."
AC Milan's coach added that achieving victory and scoring goals are an important aspect of the team's development, but he does not want the result alone to be the measure of the players' performance, as he aims to elevate the group to the level he aspires to.
The match saw Alfadjo Cissé excel, scoring three goals, before Gonçalo Ramos added a fourth, leading AC Milan to an important away victory and compensating for their loss to SL Benfica in the opening round of the European competition.
